Religious Studies

Religious Studies is taught throughout the school.

In the Middle and Senior School, the subject is largely based on the Common Entrance syllabus, with boys studying firstly Bible stories and then the Old and New Testament in detail. A variety of World Religions are studied as well as contemporary issues.

The aim is to study religion as an academic subject so that boys can make informed choices for themselves about religion. All boys take the Common Entrance or scholarship exam in the subject at the end of Year 8.
