Learning Support

Learning Support

We place great importance on knowing the profile of individual learners in order to teach to the strengths of each pupil. The Learning Support Department helps to identify, assess and support those children who would benefit from additional support.

We are keen to always involve both pupils and parents whilst arranging support. This allows us to provide a bespoke range of solutions to ensure support is providing the most effective manner meaning pupils can achieve their full potential.

Learning Support takes a variety of forms from simply ensuring that the general classroom practice of teachers is supportive of children with Learning Support needs, to additional in-class support or individual pupil support.

The school has two dedicated Learning support co-ordinators who work with external professionals, the Headmaster and Heads of Section to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
